My Children’s Journal article is now out in The Green Parent magazine for December/January 2016!
I have been an avid reader of this magazine for a number of years now, having spotted it whilst in WHSmith on holiday. At the time, I was looking for a magazine that actually had some substance to it along with some intelligent articles rather than page after page of perfume and fashion adverts. The Green Parent is an alternative parenting magazine in which real parents (no celebrity endorsements here) discuss more insightful parenting topics but above all support one another.
My Children’s journal article is a subject I feel very passionate about and an idea that I advocate for my own children as well as for myself. I have been journaling for a number of years now and every once in a while I will grab myself a coffee and sit back to read some of the thousands of my journal entries, which can often be a real help especially when the week has been tough. My youngest daughter loves to do the same and marvels at the changes in her writing and thoughts from just a few months ago to now and she is swiftly following in her mother’s footsteps with her notebook obsession!
The magazine can be found in most branches of WHSmith and Boots or there are a number of subscription offers available on the website www.the greenparent.co.uk
